Josiah Howell Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution install new officers
The Josiah Howell Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution held their first meeting of the new year on Jan. 3 and installed all but three of the new officers. Due to circumstances beyond the chapter’s control, the other three officers were installed at the Feb. 7 meeting.

The Alton Lady Comets finished their 2025-2026 season as Class 2 District 3 runners-up, after losing to Bismarck Lady Indians 49-45 in the district final on February 27, 2026. As of press time, on Monday, March 2, a picture was not available.
