Kathleen Kay Schumaker, 75, of Salem, Ark., passed away from this life on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at Salem, Ark. Kathleen was born Feb. 14, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio to Edward Joseph Thomas and Vernice Laurel (Jearrad) Thomas.

Kathleen was married to Gregory Wade Schumaker and to this union four children were born. Kathleen worked as an assembly line worker at Goodyear Tire for many years. Kathleen love bingo, Tweety Bird, horror films, and Elvis. Kathleen liked watching television and a few of her favorites were General Hospital, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was of the Catholic faith.

Kathleen leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Ronald Schumaker of Licking, Mo. and Michael Allen Schumaker of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughter, Dawn Traw (Doug Cunningham) of Salem, Ark.; son in law, Jimmy Thomas of Salem, Ark.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother, Robert Thomas, Jr. of Flagstaff, Ariz.; sister, Marian Bochi of Toledo, Ohio; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter (Cheryl Hazelwood), parents, sister (Connie Grochowski), and two brothers (Jim Thomas and Joseph Thomas).
