Barbara Joan Leonard Carpenter, 88, passed away Jan. 22, 2023 at her home in Cherokee Village, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.F. Leonard and her brothers, Derrell and Dale.

Survivors include a brother, Dennis; her children: Stan (Gwen) Carpenter, Wade (Marcia) Carpenter, and Donna (Glenn) Goldman; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara was raised in Warren, Ark. where she graduated in 1952 and then attended Roswell School of Business.

She loved being with friends and family and enjoyed living in Newton County, Ark. in her cabin in the woods!

A family memorial service will be at a later date.
