On Oct. 8, the Mammoth Spring State Park Pavilion hosted over 80 people that attended an Alton Class Reunion celebration which represented classes from 1968 thru 1978. Party organizers were Doyle Frost (72 class president) and Debbie Guffey (72 class treasurer).
Mammoth Spring Alumni Reunion will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Building. All classes are invited. Call you classmates and arrange a time to meet. Tables and chairs will be available. The junior class will be selling chili with fixings and drink for $5.

The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will present an Intermediate Excel workshop on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. facilitated by Jonathan Smith. This workshop will build on the fundamentals to make the most of the program's functions for any business or organizational needs. With this training, attendees will learn how to create outlines, subtotals, and cell names, sort and filter data, create and format tables, save workbooks as web pages, insert and edit hyperlinks, and share workbooks via email.
Walnut Street in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews construct sidewalks. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Friends of the Thomasville Community Center look forward to a fundraising Christmas Bazaar to be held Friday evening, Nov. 18, and Saturday, Nov. 19. First held in 2017, the Bazaar has become a primary fundraiser to support ongoing maintenance and operational costs of the Community Center.

This exciting event will be held on Nov. 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is facilitated by David Wood. This Lunch & Learn, sponsored by Southern Bank, is ideal for individuals interested in learning how to become a franchise owner. Attendees will learn about why the franchise industry is so large and highly successful and how franchise ownership can be a great pathway to business ownership.
