Digital photography class will be offered this spring at MSU-WP

Missouri State University- West Plains (MSU-WP) students and area residents alike can learn more about digital photography in Introduction to Digital Photography (ART 210) this spring. The course will be available as a three-credit-hour option for students enrolled at MSU-WP during the 2023 spring semester and as a non-credit continuing education/ personal enrichment class for area residents through MSU-WP’s workforce development office.

Ozarks Healthcare Foundation bringing mum sale back for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation is bringing back its mum sale to benefit the Foundation’s initiative to purchase a mobile mammography unit in 2022 to help make routine screenings more accessible for women who might not otherwise have access to this service.

Hirsch selected for Jim and Betty Sloan Agriculture Scholarship

Brittany Hirsch of Thayer, Mo., has been selected as the 2022 recipient of the Jim and Betty Sloan Scholarship in the College of Agriculture at Arkansas State University. As she explained to the scholarship selection committee, she has a 'lifelong career goal' of becoming a large animal veterinarian and returning to her hometown to open her own practice.
