August Jillian Earls earned a 4.0 GPA in the spring 2022 semester, securing a reputable position on Southern Arkansas University’s President’s list. Earls is a senior Studio Art major from Thayer, Mo.

Liesel Garrett, of West Plains, Mo., was named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2022 Honor Roll lists. Garrett, majoring in Biological Science, was named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.

Elizabeth Reves of West Plains, Mo., has been awarded the Lesa Bull Memorial Endowed Scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year. Elizabeth will receive $250 for fall 2022 semester and $250 for spring 2023 semester at Ozarka College.

Ozarka College recently announced that 61 students have been named to the President’s List and 59 students have been named to the Provost’s List for the Spring 2022 semester. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must be enrolled in at least 12 college credit hours, excluding developmental courses, not be on any type of probation, and must have a minimum grade point average of 4.0.

A total of 266 students will be candidates for graduation from Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) during the 2022 commencement ceremony Saturday, May 21, at the West Plains Civic Center. This includes students receiving associate degrees and certificates.

Ryan Wilcox of Mountain View, Ark., completed his instrument rating at the Melbourne Municipal Airport on May 2. He plans to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation – Commercial Pilot upon completion of this program.
