Fidelity Communications provides free speed upgrade to gig internet customers

Fidelity Communications today announced Thayerarea internet customers will receive a free speed upgrade – up to five times faster than their existing speeds. The company increased upload speeds from 10 Mbps to up to 50 Mbps this week at no additional cost for Fidelity customers who subscribe to Gig internet service.

DED ARPA small business grant will be accepted

If your business is still trying to recover from COVID-19, the ARPA Small Business Grant may be able to help. The Small Business Grant Program provides assistance to small businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19. The Missouri General Assembly has appropriated $10 million to the Department of Economic Development (DED) to provide assistance directly to small businesses through this grant. Of the total available funds, $2 million are reserved for minority or women-owned small businesses.

NARFE Chapter 695 to meet

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 695 of West Plains will meet Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 12 noon at the Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, 1449 Preacher Roe Blvd. EMT Farrell Graves will be the speaker. All active and retired federal employees and spouses are invited to attend.
