TPD arrests Arkansas man

Press Release On June 22 at approximately 6:49 p.m., Thayer Police Department received a call of a male subject who appeared to have been assaulted. It was reported the male subject could be located at 14616 US 63, at the Valero Gas Station.

4-H Explores brings youths to Mizzou campus

University of Missouri Extension hosted the 2022 Missouri 4-H Explores – College and Career Pathways event June 1-2 on the MU campus. Participants learned about degree programs at MU’s College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, including agricultural education; biochemistry; natural resource science and management; environmental sciences; animal sciences; plant sciences; agricultural systems technology; food science and nutrition; and nutrition and exercise physiology.

Christmas sale in July at Cherokee Village Peace Lutheran Church

An All-Community Christmas event will be held in July at the Cherokee Village Peace Lutheran Church. A craft sale will feature handcrafted artisan creations from local crafters and beyond on Friday, July 15, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 16, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come select decorations, gift items and ideas for the upcoming holiday season! Governor Parson signs proclamation to end elective abortions in Missouri in response to U.S. Supreme Court decision

On Friday, June 24, in response to the United States Supreme Court’s ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, Governor Mike Parson signed a proclamation giving legal effect to Section 188.017 RSMo and activating the “Right to Life of the Unborn Child Act.”
