JacksonStrongPayitForward Scholarship Committee is proud to announce this years scholarship recipients. Due to our generous sponsors and successful golf tournament we were able to award seven, $500 scholarships this year to the following students. Riley Moser from Melbourne High School, Emily Sevor from Salem High School, Morgan Johnson from Salem High School, Katelynn Johnson from I.C.C. High School, Landon McBride from I.C.C. High School, Tressie Carter from Highland High School and Kara Edwards from Mammoth Spring High School.

The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the business, nonprofit and municipal representatives to it’s second quarter general meeting on June 21, 12 noon at Just Like Home Cafe, located at 3655 Highway 62/412 in Hardy by the South entrance to Cherokee Village. SRACC membership is not required.

Ozarks Healthcare Therapies will be offering a safe, encouraging environment for kids to improve muscle strength, coordination, concentration and body awareness through a special yoga class. The class will be for ages 12 and under of all abilities and will be held Tuesday, June 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Willard Hunter Classroom in Parkway Center. The class is free to attend. Judge William Hass recently attended the 2022 annual Courts Conference of the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association (MMACJA) held at Lake of the Ozarks. Judge Hass is the municipal judge for the cities of Mountain View, Thayer, West Plains and Willow Springs.
