Governor Parson signs HB 14, Historic Pay Raises for All State Team Members into Law on the Working Class

On Monday, Feb. 27, Governor Mike Parson signed House Bill 14 into law. Also referred to as the Fiscal Year 2023 Early Supplemental Bill, HB 14 secures an 8.7 percent cost-of-living pay increase for all state team members and a $2 per hour shift differential for state congregate care staff.

Methamphetamine was first developed in 1893 and was used in World War II to keep the men of the Allies and Axis forces awake. It wasn’t until 1919 the process to make meth was streamlined and crystal meth was developed. In 1970, meth was outlawed in the US.

Audit on Statewide Advantage for Missouri (SAM II) and MissouriBUYS system recommends steps to reduce risk of unauthorized or inappropriate activity State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick has released an audit of the Statewide Advantage for Missouri (SAM II) system, which handles billions of dollars in financial transactions each year for the state of Missouri. The report found security control weaknesses that could leave the system vulnerable to unauthorized or inappropriate transactions. Several of the findings were also reported in the previous state audit of SAM II, released in December 2019.
