Courtesy Coach Matt Pitts Returning players expected to contribute for the Thayer Bobcats include: Aidan Burns - (SCA 1st Team, SCA POY, District CO-POY, MBCA ALL State, ALL Ozone 2nd team, interest from multiple colleges including D-1) Great athlete who can score from all 3 levels with high IQ, great defender w/length, great leader and extremely hard working.Rowan Spencer - (2nd team All SCA), great athlete w/great handles, super quick, strong and finishes great at the rim, excellent perimeter shooter, brings great toughness every night.Mark Spencer- blue collar guy who really competes, super strong, attacks the basket hard and can cause chaos on the defensive end and loves to compete.Devin Harrington- (2nd team All SCA, All District) Freak athlete w/crazy length, can dominate a game on both ends, 22 rebs in state semifinal 5th all time, can score from all 3 levels and is relentless on the glass.Easton Pitts - (All SCA HM)- great competitor who can score from all 3 levels, great athlete w/great bounce and is a competitor in every sense who brings toughness.Brandon Prince - long athlete who is very versatile, can play inside/outside, a tough match up who can finish.Cooper Clark - blue collar, high IQ, will give us another paint presence defensively, passes it well and can play inside/outside.Top newcomers include Riley White a hard worker, good athlete w/length, good defender, can really attack the basket and has worked really hard this off-season and Heath Combs who is a good athlete, great defender, attacks the basket hard, plays hard and loves to compete.

Six members of the Grizzly Volleyball team at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) were named to the NJCAA All-Region 16 Team during the recent region championship tournament.They include:• freshman outside hitter Rosa Brençiç, Ljubljana, Slovenia, most valuable player• freshman outside hitter Gibby Beckler, Conway, first team• freshman setter Caroline Glatkowski, Erfurt, Germany, first team• freshman middle blocker Maja Bochenek, Olkusz, Poland, first team• freshman libero Eduarda Portes, Curitiba, Brazil, second team• freshman middle blocker Kaitlyn Aleshire, Chicago, Illinois, second teamMore about the MVPBrençiç ended the season ranked eighth in the nation in total kills with 450, and Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paty Figueiredo said she has the numbers to be ranked among the top scorers in the team’s history.She had 450 kills on 1,249 attempts with 198 errors for an attacking percentage of .202 this season.
