The coaching staff of the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team will host a skills camp Aug. 11-12 at the West Plains Parks and Recreation Department softball fields adjacent to the high school parking lot.

Jared Phay, head coach of the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Basketball team, has signed Lionel Kumwimba for the 2023-2024 season. A native of the Republic of the Congo, the 6-foot, 8-inch forward played for Athletes In Action (AIA) Prep in Xenia, Ohio, during its inaugural season last season.
Former Lady Bobcat Jordan Alford (2015) has been named as assistant coach for the Illinois State Redbirds. As a Lady Bobcat, Alford was selected for All-State three times. She played for the Columbia Lady Cougars from 2016 to 2020 where she was recognized as a three-time NAIA All-American. After graduation from Columbia, Alford was a graduate assistant at Southern Illinois University.
Aiden Gair, a sophomore sharpshooter for the Missouri State University- West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Basketball team, has signed a national letter of intent to join the Montana State University Bobcats in Bozeman beginning this fall.
