Dates for Grizzly Basketball Summer Camps set
Dates for the Grizzly Basketball Summer Camps have been set. The regular camp for boys and girls eighth grade and under will be June 19-21.

Grizzly Heather Montague signs with ASU
Grizzly Heather Montague, a 5-foot, 9-inch defensive specialist/setter from Koshkonong, will continue her collegiate career at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and will serve as student manager for the Red Wolves volleyball team. Her main duties as student manager will be keeping the stats during practices and games. “Heather as been a big part of our Grizzly program for the past two years,” Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paty Figueiredo said. “She helped the team succeed on and off the court. She is a great leader and does what it takes to help her teammates. We are very happy for her and grateful for all she has done for the Grizzly Volleyball program. Heather’s commitment and gratitude show in everything she does. She set a goal and is going after it. We will continue to follow her accomplishments.” (MSU-WP photo)



Grizzly Basketball adds Calico Rock’s Riley Whiteaker to 2023-2024 squad
Jared Phay, head coach of the Missouri State University- West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Basketball team, has signed Riley Whiteaker of Calico Rock, Arkansas, for the 2023-2024 season. Whiteaker put pen to paper Tuesday, May 9, during a signing ceremony at the school with his high school coaches Alex Skidmore and Jeff Whiteaker and his family by his side.
Grizzly volleyball camps set for July
Area youngsters who will be in second through 12th grades during the 2023-24 academic year can develop their volleyball skills during the Grizzly Volleyball Summer Camps. The camps will be offered in July at the West Plains Civic Center.


Grizzly Softball picks up double-header wins over East Central
A strong effort, both offensively and defensively, gave the Missouri State University- West Plains (MSUWP) Grizzlies doubleheader sweep Saturday against East Central College at the West Plains Sports Complex off Howell Avenue.
