Zachary Gunnels, a senior at Mammoth Spring High School, signed a letter of intent, committing to attend Black River Technical College in the Fall of 2022. Zachary plans to seek a degree in Nursing. The 2022 Signing Day took place on Saturday, May 7 in the Lobby of the Administration Building on the Pocahontas campus. Zachary was accompanied by his parent, Nicole Buls. BRTC would like to recognize and celebrate Zachary’s decision to attend college and congratulate him on his high school graduation.

Mammoth Spring Lady Bears Softball team won the 1A Conference championship for the second consecutive year. .

The Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team has its third signee for its inaugural season. Aubrey Antle, a fouryear starting pitcher with the Exeter High School Lady Tigers softball team, has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Grizzlies, MSU-WP Head Coach Don Long said.
