Deadline reminder
With the transition of ownership, printing deadlines have been moved to an earlier time resulting in earlier deadlines for advertising and submitting copy. The new advertising deadline is Friday by 12 noon with auction and classified ad deadlines on Monday by 8:30 a.m.
Blister beetles reported in large numbers in Missouri
Farmers, livestock owners and gardeners across the state report that blister beetles are appearing in large numbers this summer, says Pat Miller, University of Missouri Extension agronomy specialist. Blister beetles produce a toxin that can harm livestock.
