A 60-foot semi-truck full of supplies for those impacted by the tornadoes arrived at the Alton Fire Department on Friday, March 21. It was delivered by Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort from Nashville, Tennessee. The organization partnered with Church of Christ in Alton, Alton Fire Department, Alton Police Department and Oregon County Sheriff’s Office. Items delivered included cleaning supplies, food boxes, water, sheets, blankets, pillows, baby boxes, diapers, personal care boxes, dust masks, rakes, shoes, tarps, wheelbarrows, etc. Some items from the truck were also sent to Rover.
