Dr. Kathleen Morrison, center, professor of political science at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP), is retiring from her position on Feb. 1, after 34 ½ years with the university. Morrison was hired as an assistant professor on Aug. 21, 1989, and received tenure on Aug. 15, 1994. She was promoted to associate professor on Aug. 16, 1999, and to professor on Aug. 15, 2005. She served as division chair from 1995 to 2001.
