Lenore June Coleman

Lenore June Coleman, 84, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Salem, Ark., passed from this walk of life on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Mountain Home.

She was born in Sturkie, Ark., on Oct. 17, 1938, daughter of the late Thomas Rosco and Leona Grace (Ball) Kinder. Lenore was united in marriage to Bobby Wayne Coleman on Oct. 19, 1956, in Moko, Ark., and to this union three children were born. During her working years, Lenore worked as a secretary for Moody Insurance and Real Estate in Salem. Lenore was a member of Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Ark., where she did the church bulletin for many years. She enjoyed sewing and taking care of her family.

Lenore is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bob ColemanofMountainHome, Ark.; sons, Timothy Wayne Coleman and wife Konnie of Mountain Home, Ark. and Robert Lynn Coleman and wife Bonnie of Mountain Home, Ark.; daughter, Gayla Dianne Hickman and husband Dwight of Mountain Home, Ark.; brothers, Rollin Kinder and wife Lindel of West Plains, Mo. and Gaylon Kinder and wife Karen of West Plains, Mo.; sisters, Vera Bassham of Salem, Ark., Joyce Holloway and husband Charles of West Plains, Mo. and Janiece Booth and husband Donald of Ash Flat, Ark.; grandchildren, Chris (Whitney) Hickman, Casey (Julie) Hickman, Brad (Cara) Coleman, Amy (Kevin) Reano and Justin Coleman; great grandchildren, Daxton Hickman, Briley Hickman, Braylen Hickman, Makaylee Hickman, Whitten Coleman, Ford Coleman, Blake Coleman, Carter Coleman, Josie Reano and Miles Reano and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Grace Kinder; brothers and sister-in-laws, Neil Kinder and wife Myrda, Boyd Kinder and wife Margene, Leo Kinder, Lowell Kinder and wife Berta Gean, Paul Dean Kinder and wife Pat and Bobby Kinder and brotherin- law, Thomas Bassham.

Pallbearers include Chris Hickman, Casey Hickman, Brad Coleman, Justin Coleman, Rollin Kinder and Gaylon Kinder.

Funeral services were held, Monday, May 22, 2023, at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Ark. at 2 p.m. with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery in Salem, Ark. Visitation was prior to the service from 12 until 1:45 p.m.
