Cutline:Thayer Fun & Friends Senior Center recently received a new roof thanks to a grant through SeniorAge’s American Rescue Plan Act. The $27,900 grant was utilized for roof repairs by KT Roofing which included fixing and repairing a leak on the flat roof; removing shingles; installation of synthetic underlayment, of drip edge, owning cornering duration shingles and roof vents; as well as flash all obstacles and hauling and disposing of all debris. The project was completed in April.
