Area children can drop off their letters to Santa in a secure mailbox at The Alton Florist located on the square in Alton. The mailbox is available until Friday, Dec. 15, to make there is plenty of time for children to receive their letters from the North Pole. Make sure there is a return address and the child’s name is legible. The Alton Florist is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Photo/submitted
