Thayer Bobcats traveled to Houston High School to compete in the Class 3 District 10 Championship game on Friday, Feb. 24 where they faced the Mansfield Lions winning 44-41. This is the 10th consecutive district championship for Thayer Bobcats. On Monday, Feb. 27 the Bobcats defeated the Steelville Cardinals in the MSHSAA Class 3 Sectional 5 to improve to (24-4) on the season. Thayer will compete in the Class 3 State Quarterfinal 3 on Friday, March 3 at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.
